Egis Software and Distribution, a member of the Switchboard group of companies, was established in August 1993.
The company's main focus is centered around document and content management solutions development with the core solution being the highly successful PaperTrail ECM. This solution was originally forged in the mid-nineties for customers such as the South African Reserve Bank.
Today PaperTrail boasts a fully integrated solution, offering customers a world class platform with an attractive value proposition - leading to renowned banks, financial and retail services, as well as manufacturers and government agencies depending on Egis PaperTrail.
Egis has official offices in Cape Town, serving the southern provincial territories and in Gauteng for northern territory based customers.
Egis is well known and respected as a supplier of leading, cutting edge technologies within its chosen fields of expertise. Egis commenced operations in the early 90s and has a consistent track record of providing world class solutions and partnerships within the scope of its business interests. Our aim is to forge business partnerships with end user customers and solution partners our customer and partner relationships are long term.
